Most DJs bury the number behind a form. Here it is: $999 covers the first four hours, and every hour after that is $200. Everything on this page is included at every length — there's no "silver package" that quietly leaves out the microphone.
The base rate. Covers arrival, setup, performance, and teardown at one venue.
Booked ahead with your quote. If your timeline needs a half hour rather than a whole one, say so and I'll price it that way.
Only if your event runs across more than one space — a separate ceremony room needs its own gear.
A 50% retainer reserves your date; the balance is due 7 days before the event. Card, cash, Venmo, or check.

Ceremony coverage — sound and a mic on a stand for the processional, vows, and recessional — is included when the ceremony is in the same space as the reception. In a separate room it's the extra-setup fee above, and nothing more.

How it works
Tell me the date, venue, and roughly how long you need. You get a written number back within a day — no call required.
A contract and a payment link. A 50% non-refundable retainer reserves your date and takes it off the calendar for everyone else.
About three weeks out you get a planning form — must-plays, do-not-plays, timeline, colors — followed by a call to walk through it.
Card, cash, Venmo, or check. Then the only thing left is the night itself.
Pricing FAQs
It's really the price for a four-hour event at one venue on the Wasatch Front, with everything listed above included. It goes up when your event runs longer, spans more than one space, or needs extra gear for an exceptionally large or loud crowd — and those are the only things on a standard quote that move it.
Sometimes. The standard rig is sized for most weddings and events, and the guest count on its own doesn't change the price. But an exceptionally large or loud crowd — roughly 250 and up, depending on the room and the kind of event — can need additional speakers and subwoofers to cover properly, and that gear is quoted with your venue. A 300-person seated dinner and a 250-person party that wants it loud are different problems, so tell me the guest count and the vibe when you ask and there won't be a surprise later.
Five to six is the usual shape: ceremony or cocktail hour, dinner and toasts, then two to three hours of dancing. Six hours works out to $1,399. If you're unsure, book what you're confident about — if the night runs long I'll stay when I can, at the same $200 rate, settled that day.
No. Load-in, sound check, and strike are part of the fee, not part of your coverage window. Your hours start when the music starts.
If the ceremony is in the same space as the reception, it's included — sound and a wireless mic on a stand for the processional, vows, and recessional, and the ceremony time is simply part of your hours. If it's in a separate room at the same venue, that's a second setup at $300. A ceremony at a completely different venue is a separate quote, so mention it early.
No — it's what reserves the date, and I turn away other work for it. Anything paid beyond the retainer is fully refundable if you cancel in writing before the event date. A booking can also be moved once to a new date, subject to availability, with 30 days' notice.
Not along the Wasatch Front — Salt Lake City, Bountiful, Davis County, Park City, Provo, Orem, and Lehi are all covered by the base rate. Statewide travel is available and quoted with your venue.
