Blackhat Music, doing business as Blackhat DJ Services, runs this site (blackhatslc.com). We are a small DJ company in Salt Lake City. We collect the details you send us about your event, plus some basic advertising data, and that is genuinely it. We do not sell your information to anyone.
When you submit the quote form, we receive what you typed into it: your first name, your last name and phone number if you chose to add them, your email, your event type, guest count, venue and city, date, start time, duration, how many setup locations you need, whether you want ceremony coverage, and anything you wrote in the details box.
We use it to reply to you, quote your event, and run it if you book us. Nothing else.
If you arrived here by clicking one of our Google ads, your browser carries a click identifier and campaign tags in the link. We store those on your device for up to 90 days, in a cookie named bh_attrib and in your browser's local storage, and we attach them to your quote request if you send one. That is how we know which ads actually bring in bookings rather than guessing.
Google's own advertising tag also runs on this site and sets its own cookies to measure conversions. Google's handling of that data is covered by Google's privacy policy.
We do not use analytics that follow you around the web, we do not build advertising profiles, and there is no tracking pixel here from any social network.
Your quote request goes into our own booking system, and we reply to you by email. The site runs on a third-party hosting provider, which keeps standard server logs. Google receives the advertising measurement described above. That is the full list. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with other vendors, venues, or lead-buying services.
The quote form has an optional checkbox for occasional offers and updates. If you leave it unchecked, you will only hear from us about your own event. If you check it and change your mind later, reply to any email and say so, and you are off the list.
Advertising identifiers expire on their own after 90 days. Quote requests and event records we keep as ordinary business records, since past events and their details are how we handle repeat bookings and referrals.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time, and you can turn off ad personalization in Google's ad settings. Neither one stops you from using this site or booking with us. If you want us to delete what we hold about you, email blackhatslc@gmail.com and we will take care of it.
This site is meant for adults booking events. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and the date at the top.
